Transco Pipeline Seeks US Southeast Expansion for Natural Gas

An energy company wants to expand an existing natural gas pipeline through multiple states in the US Southeast that is estimated to deliver as much as 1.5 billion cubic feet of methane gas daily.

The Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co., LLC, filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Oct. 28 seeking approval from the agency that the expansion meets a public need for energy and can move ahead.
