TransCanada Pipeline, Kinder Morgan Challenge Ozone Rule Updates

Oil and gas company Kinder Morgan Inc. and several other businesses brought another challenge to the Environmental Protection Agency’s updated traveling ozone pollution rule that’s already been subject to a legal battle with some states.

Kinder Morgan filed a petition on Feb. 7 urging the D.C. Circuit to review the multi-pronged Good Neighbor interstate pollution rule. TC Energy Corp. unit TransCanada Pipeline USA Ltd, the American Petroleum Institute, Enbridge Inc., and US Steel Corp. also make up some of the latest challengers to the rule.
