Trade, Trains, TSCA Top New Chemistry Group Chief’s Priorities

Addressing the damage that trade and trains can do to chemical manufacturers’ bottom lines are among Christopher L. Jahn’s top priorities in his first year heading the influential American Chemistry Council.

Jahn replaced Cal Dooley in October as president and CEO of the council, the chemical industry’s chief voice on Capitol Hill and a formidable presence in state chemical policy debates. Jahn has a long familiarity with trade and rail matters, having served as president and CEO of The Fertilizer Institute and president of the National Association of Chemical Distributors.
