Major environmental measures in New York state—including bills that would limit PFAS and an environmental justice measure needed to start the state’s ambitious climate action plan—are awaiting action by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D) by month’s end.
The governor is looking to make changes—some technical and some more substantial—on a few of the bills, said state Sen. Todd Kaminsky (D), chairman of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee, though he declined to specify them.
