The owner of a zoo featured in the Netflix series “Tiger King” created a new facility to exhibit animals without a proper exhibitor license and without an attending veterinarian in violation of animal protection laws, the government says in a lawsuit filed Thursday in federal court in Oklahoma.
The government is seeking immediate access to investigate “Tiger King Park” in Thackerville, Okla., and determine the condition of “many animals believed in peril,” according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
