TForce Freight Settles Hazardous Waste Violations in 39 States

The Environmental Protection Agency has announced a consent agreement and final order with TForce Freight, Inc. to resolve alleged noncompliance with hazardous waste regulations in 39 states, according to EPA Tuesday.

The Virginia-based company allegedly failed to make hazardous waste determinations and did not conduct proper on-site management of hazardous waste, said the agency.

TForce will pay an $860,400 civil penalty and has been given 36 months to come into compliance across 174 locations, said the agency.
