Texas LNG Export Terminal Deadline Extension Upheld on Appeal

A Texas environmental advocacy group lost its bid Wednesday to get a construction deadline extension rescinded for a liquefied natural gas project originally approved in 2020.

The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said in its denial of the group’s petition for review that the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s extension decision was supported by “substantial evidence in the record.”
