Texas Homeowners Back Down From Kinder Morgan Pipeline Dispute

Texas homeowners have resolved their dispute with Kinder Morgan Texas Pipeline LLC over a construction accident that contaminated a local aquifer, according to a filing in a federal court in the state.

The homeowners filed their lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas seeking to force the company to find an alternate route for its Permian Highway Pipeline project, after the March spill dumped 36,000 gallons of drilling fluid into an aquifer that served 10,000 people.
