TC Energy Confirms Termination of Keystone XL Pipeline (1)

  • TC Energy terminated the Keystone XL Pipeline Project after a review of options and in consultation with the Government of Alberta
  • Construction was suspended following the revocation of the Presidential Permit on January 20, 2021
  • Cost to province of Alberta, an investor in the project, is estimated “within” C$1.3 billion ($1.1 billion), provincial government says in release
