Supreme Court Won’t Hear Nuns’ Case Against TransCo Pipeline (1)

An order of nuns in Pennsylvania who sued on religious grounds to stop a pipeline lost their last hope of a court rescue.

The U.S. Supreme Court Feb. 19 declined to hear the case, which pitted the Adorers of the Blood of Christ against the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC.
