States Say EPA Waters Rule Means ‘Crushing Fines’ If Not Vacated

A group of 24 states led by West Virginia say in their challenge to the EPA’s wetlands and waters rule that the agency has ignored both district court and Supreme Court rulings, forcing “Plaintiff States and their citizens” to “pay the price” in the form of “crushing fines and jail time for noncompliance.”
