Rhode Island and Connecticut sued the Trump Administration over its order blocking further construction of a nearly completed offshore wind farm meant to provide power to the two New England states.
The states on Thursday asked a federal judge to vacate the Aug. 22 stop-work order the administration issued against the Revolution Wind project, located off the coast of Rhode Island. A complaint by the states wasn’t immediately available on the docket. Developer Orsted A/S sued the administration earlier on Thursday.
