A company that invests in real estate for solar projects is challenging a Vermont town’s decision that blocked the next step for developing a new facility.
PLH Vineyard Sky LLC, which purchases land for Allco Renewable Energy Limited’s solar projects, applied to the Town of Bennington, Vt. for a determination by the Select Board that it’s property for a solar facility is a preferred site, which is crucial for satisfying the siting process under state law, the complaint said.
