The US Court of Federal Claims paused a lawsuit from a group of state agencies over rescinded federal solar panel funds Wednesday, signaling their multi-venue strategy to restore the green grants will face headwinds moving forward.
The Maryland Clean Energy Center, California Public Utilities Commission, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and about a dozen other Democratic-led states struggled to convince the court their claims against the Environmental Protection Agency should proceed while other, similar lawsuits remain pending in federal district court.
