Advanced Energy Industries Inc. was partially successful in its bid to win judgment in a case where it’s accused of selling malfunctioning solar panel equipment that was installed on New York City public school roofs.
The New York Power Authority claims that Advanced Energy sold defective inverters for solar panels for the schools. The complaint also alleges that the company was aware of the faulty design of the inverters since at least December 2013.
