Second Attorney Sanctioned in Monsanto Roundup Case (Corrected)

The judge overseeing toxic litigation against Bayer-owned Monsanto over injuries blamed on the pesticide Roundup sanctioned a second plaintiffs’ attorney May 21 for “bad faith misconduct” in violating pre-trial orders about what was off-limits to say to jurors.

Judge Vince Chhabria of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California sanctioned attorney Jennifer A. Moore, of the Moore Law Group PLLC in Louisville, Ky. Chhabria issued a $500 penalty and some harsh words in a two-page order.
