Scrubbing EPA Climate Website Could Hurt Businesses

The prospect that the administration of President Donald Trump could scrub the EPA’s climate change website is alarming businesses and researchers that use the site’s data to track greenhouse gas emissions and report to investors and others.

Conflicting messages emerged from the Trump administration, with media reporting that Environmental Protection Agency employees had been instructed to delete the section of the agency’s website that deals with climate change, while Trump officials downplayed the move and said a final decision has yet to be made.
