Sable Offshore Corp. may not immediately restart an oil pipeline running from an offshore rig to the Santa Barbara, Calif., coast after a state judge extended a restraining order blocking the move.
Judge Donna Geck of the California Superior Court for Santa Barbara County entered a narrow tentative injunction Thursday, further delaying the Houston-based company’s bid to resume operations at a former Exxon Mobil oil unit that has sat dormant since a 2015 oil spill.
