Businesses should remain cautious about the Trump administration’s plans to overhaul National Environmental Policy Act regulations, a lawyer representing energy companies and other industries said Friday.
The administration has touted its proposed changes as an opportunity to “modernize” and simplify the NEPA process that project backers must go through for most big projects requiring federal permits, such as pipelines and highways.
