Revlon Settles Dispute Over N.Y. Marriott Property Cleanup Costs

Revlon Consumer Products Corp. and Revlon Inc. reached an agreement with the developer of a planned Marriott hotel and restaurant over alleged contamination at the site in New York, according to a filing in a federal court.

Bilwin Development Affiliates LLC said Revlon and its predecessors agreed to dispose of the company’s wastes at a landfill owned by the Village of Tuckahoe. Wastes disposed of at the site included deodorant, inhalers, and other products containing Freon and other substances, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
