Renewable-Energy Advocacy Group ACORE’s CEO Is Stepping Down

Gregory Wetstone, the head of the American Council on Renewable Energy, is stepping down after more than seven years running the Washington-based advocacy group.

ACORE will start a search for its next president and chief executive officer as Wetstone transitions out of the role this year, according to a statement Monday. The pending leadership change was announced just months after President Joe Biden passed a landmark climate law the group had sought.
