Purina Animal Nutrition LLC won’t face a lawsuit over alleged unlawful river pollution in Spokane, Wash., after a local environmental group dropped their suit.
The US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington granted voluntary dismissal of the Clean Water Act lawsuit brought by Spokane Riverkeeper.
- The group alleged Purina’s animal feed operation was violating the CWA’s effluent standards and limitations through stormwater runoff into the Spokane River
