EPA Seeks More Time in Case Challenging Its PFAS Water Limits

The EPA asked a federal court for more time to decide how it would like to proceed in a lawsuit challenging the nation’s first ever drinking water limits on PFAS.

The Environmental Protection Agency asked the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Tuesday for an additional 30 days to allow its new leadership to review the underlying rule.

Neither petitioners nor intervenors in the lawsuit oppose the agency’s request, it said.
