Power Plant Rule Challengers Lose Bid to Halt Carbon Limits (1)

A panel at the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled Friday that it won’t temporarily halt contested power plant emissions standards while litigation carries on over its legality.

States and industry groups are embroiled in a thicket of consolidated cases against the Environmental Protection Agency’s latest attempt to regulate greenhouse gases from power plants.
