Plastics Group Appeals After Setbacks in California Records Case

The Plastics Industry Association is taking its attempt to avoid California’s plastics recycling probe to an appeals court after a judge ruled against the group twice.

The trade association appealed Judge Amit P. Mehta’s decisions to reject a pair of preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order motions, which if granted would have exempted the group from turning over documents related to California Democratic Attorney General Rob Bonta’s plastics recycling investigation.
