Perdue Must Face Second Lawsuit Over Maryland Plant PFAS Dumping

Two Perdue Farms Inc. subsidiaries can’t shake a lawsuit over alleged forever chemical contamination on properties near a facility in Salisbury, Md.

Two nearby residents adequately pled the state’s water quality management plan serves as a legal requirement for companies to have a permit for discharges containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, the US District Court for the District of Maryland ruled on Thursday.
