The Armed Forces and several other federal agencies appear to be getting ready to quickly eliminate or trim back their permitting rules, according to documents posted by the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
The documents say the Air Force, Army, Navy, Army Corps of Engineers, Energy Department, Interior Department, and Federal Highway Administration plan to issue interim final rules that adjust their permitting procedures in some way.
