Orsted Gets Tesla Batteries for Giant UK Offshore Wind Park (1)

Orsted A/S signed a deal with Tesla Inc. for a battery system at one of the UK’s biggest offshore wind parks that will help balance the nation’s energy market.

The storage facility will soak up excess power on windy days and then dispatch the electricity at calmer times. This will help even out supplies and reduce price volatility.
