A dispute between oil companies Epsilon Energy USA Inc. and Chesapeake Appalachia LLC over certain natural gas projects was sent back to a trial court to decide if other oil companies are required to join the case.
The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Wednesday agreed with the lower court that the other contracting parties are required but said that “deciding whether to proceed without those that cannot be joined involves further findings better performed by the trial judge.”
