Ohio Governor Claims Victory With $110 Million PFAS Settlement

Ohio’s proposed $110 million settlement with three companies is “a victory for all Ohioans” and will help clean up decades of natural resource damage from forever chemicals, state officials said at a Wednesday press briefing.

DuPont de Nemours Inc., The Chemours Co., and Corteva Inc. agreed to settle the state’s claims that per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) discharged into the air and water from 1950 to 2013 damaged natural resources.
