The Fifth Circuit should dismiss a case from conservation groups alleging the government didn’t properly analyze updates to a deepwater liquefied natural gas port, the Transportation Department said.
The groups lack standing because they failed to show concrete injuries. They also didn’t show violations of federal law, the department’s US Maritime Administration said in its brief filed Thursday with the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
