Actions to regulate safety of manufactured nanomaterials have not stalled companies’ innovation or economic growth, although some actions have increased administrative burdens for companies, according to a recent Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development survey report.
Released Sept. 16, the 62-page report looks at nine countries’ efforts to regulate nanomaterials during 2010-2011, based on a July 12, 2012, survey.
