It is time for the bitter legal fight over Obama-era power plant carbon controls to come to an end, the EPA and state, utility, and other industry challengers told a federal appeals court.
Opponents of the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan, which set first limits on carbon dioxide from existing power plants, on July 15 asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to close the door on their long-pending legal challenge to the regulation.
The Environmental Protection Agency, in a July 17 filing, backed that request.
