North American Development Bank to Launch Initiative to Attract Clean Energy Projects

LOS ANGELES—The North American Development Bank announced April 22 the launching of an outreach effort aimed at private sector companies for the development of clean and renewable energy projects.

“The U.S.-Mexico border region is ripe for investment in these sectors, particularly solar and wind,” said Hector Camacho, deputy director, North American Development Bank (NADBank), in a statement.

The initiative will be formally launched at a May 6 conference in Monterrey, Mexico, titled, “Air Quality and Street Paving: Environmental Solutions,” convened by key regional stakeholders.
