US energy regulators have ordered
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission finding, published late Wednesday, follows two other legal rulings in Maine that together create a pathway for the long-contested New England Clean Energy Connect project. The transmission line proposes to carry 1,200 megawatts of Quebec-produced hydropower to Massachusetts customers, but Maine voters rejected the project in 2021.
