President-elect Donald Trump has no love for electric vehicles. If there were any doubts about how that might shake out in terms of policy once Republicans return to power this month, House Speaker Mike Johnson put them to rest last week on Capitol Hill. “We’re going to save the jobs of our auto manufacturers,” he said, ticking off priorities for the 119th Congress. “And we’re going to do that by ending the ridiculous EV mandates.”
