Honeywell, Saint-Gobain to Clean Polluted N.Y. Town’s Water (2)

Honeywell International Inc. and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp., the companies responsible for contaminating an upstate New York village’s drinking water supply with PFAS chemicals, must implement an alternative supply plan for the community, state officials said Friday.

New wells have been identified for the village of Hoosick Falls, northeast of Albany, and a transmission line will be constructed from the wells to the village water treatment plant as part of the final plan to set up a replacement drinking water supply.
