US President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imports from Canada may soon be felt in New England in the form of higher home-heating bills.

Irving Oil Ltd., a refiner based in the eastern Canadian province of New Brunswick, is notifying some customers in New Hampshire that the cost of the tariffs will be added to their propane prices once they go into effect, according to a notice provided to Bloomberg by Douglas Irwin, an economics professor at Dartmouth College.
