New EPA Guidebook Adds to Growing Environmental Justice Record

The EPA released on Wednesday a 52-page guidebook about its legal power to find and fix cumulative impacts in environmental justice communities, part of an ongoing effort to set its authorities down in writing.

The new document, together with last May’s lengthy review of the Environmental Protection Agency’s legal tools, establishes a permanent record detailing all the ways the administration believes it can legally act to protect vulnerable communities from overlapping environmental threats.
