Nashville, Baltimore Join Cities Suing Trump Over Funding Cuts

President Donald Trump and a host of agencies plunged cities and nonprofits into chaos by withholding funds for climate projects, water quality, and more, federal grant recipients said in a new lawsuit.

Nashville, Baltimore, and 15 other city and nonprofit plaintiffs are asking Judge Richard M. Gergel to order the Trump administration to unfreeze climate and environment dollars, require grant program managers to answer questions in a timely manner, and provide weekly status updates on fund disbursements, according to the March 19 complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of South Carolina.
