Montana Urges Bison Graze Pause in Challenge to Interior Agency

Montana and several of its agencies are challenging the Interior Department’s decision to allow bison grazing to continue in one of the state’s northeastern counties while the administrative process proceeds.

Interior’s Office of Hearings and Appeals was wrong during administrative proceedings to refuse to put on hold the Bureau of Land Management’s decision allowing the grazing, Montana told the US District Court for the District of Montana on Dec. 6.
