Two liquefied natural gas facilities in Texas were reauthorized by US energy regulators Thursday after clarifying their findings that the massive export terminals shouldn’t cause environmental justice concerns.
The Rio Grande LNG LLC and Texas LNG Brownsville LLC, both proposed for the Port of Brownsville, can move forward after the commission responded to an August 2021 court ruling, Willie Phillips, acting chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, said.
