A lawsuit challenging the Bureau of Land Management’s plan to open more than one million acres of land in Colorado to oil and gas lease sales will be on hold pending the agency’s review, a federal court in the state ruled.
The decision approving the plan is remanded so the agency can conduct a supplemental environmental analysis, according to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
