Kraft Heinz Foods Co. and two other companies paid more than $1.4 million to settle claims that the businesses sold cleaning products in California that violated state air quality regulations.
California Air Resources Board staff discovered the violations after buying and testing consumer products from Kraft Heinz, CRC Industries, and Mothers Polishes, Waxes, Cleaners Inc., the agency said Jan. 23.
