Keystone Automotive will pay a $2.5 million penalty for allegedly selling “defeat devices,” which would violate the Clean Air Act, according to the EPA Thursday.
Keystone, headquartered in Exeter, Pa., was cited for 15,621 violations, the agency said. The company allegedly sold 44 types of aftermarket automotive parts designed to defeat the emissions control systems on cars and trucks, according to the EPA.
