Judge Reverses Some Trump Energy Agency Grant Cancellations (1)

A Minnesota city and an assortment of clean energy advocates were partially successful Monday after a federal court judge found the government acted unlawfully when cutting grants in blue states.

The court entered judgment in favor of the groups on their Fifth Amendment claim, but Judge Amit P. Mehta of the US District Court for the District of Columbia ruled the plaintiffs didn’t have standing for their First Amendment claims.
