Iran and Israel traded strikes on key energy facilities in the Middle East, complicating US efforts to curb turmoil in markets as the conflict stretched toward three weeks.

Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City — the complex that houses the world’s largest liquefied natural gas export plant — suffered “extensive damage” after an Iranian attack, state-owned QatarEnergy said, without providing more details.
