Interior Seeking Public Input on California Offshore Lease Sales

The Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is seeking industry nominations and public comment on areas of interest for potential offshore oil and gas lease sales in Southern California and Central California.

• NOTE: Sales were previously included in Trump administration’s proposed five-year oil and gas leasing program, which outlined three potential south California sales starting in 2027, two in Central California also starting in 2027, and one in Northern California starting in 2029
