The House is set to vote on two bills Jan. 10 that would reopen the EPA and most agencies at the Interior Department, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said.
The Democratic leadership will bring the fiscal year 2019 spending bills for Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies and Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies later this week, Hoyer told reporters Jan. 8, in a move to slowly reopen the government.
“Federal employees are being deeply damaged by this continuing, long-term shutdown,” Hoyer said.
