Inhance Technologies LLC has produced multiple PFAS without approval required by chemical law and regulations, the EPA alleges in a recently unsealed complaint before a federal district court.
The global packaging company “has and continues to produce multiple per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances” in violation of the Toxic Substances Control Act and a regulation the agency issued in 2020 to control certain PFAS, the Environmental Protection Agency told the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
